The team at Port Douglas Weddings are passionate about helping you create the wedding of your dreams and capturing those moments for you to look back on for decades to come.

Shobha first moved to Port Douglas in 2005, and is still constantly inspired by the relaxed lifestyle, close-knit community, and natural environment of Tropical North Queensland. With almost two decades of experience as a wedding coordinator, Shobha’s experience has allowed her to work for resorts across Queensland.

In 2008 she joined the team to head the wedding planning side of Port Douglas Weddings. Now settled in Port Douglas, Shobha is a treasure trove of information on the local wedding industry and has nurtured a network of partners in the community that include local businesses and venues. In 2022 she officially took over the reins of Port Douglas Weddings as well expanding her skill set becoming a celebrant.
